Thomas asks…
Should I even acknowledge this person?
Okay so- I am an avid Yelp! user. I decided to write a review on a restaurant that I recently went to. I gave it a decent rating, the only thing I said that could have been perceived as negative was that the prices were a little much for my taste. (for 1 appetizer and about 6 drinks it was $80.00 for me and my friends)
anyway, I thought I was being fair, and nice while giving a good well rounded opinion. A few days later I saw that I had received a message from the owner saying “if you dont like the prices then dont come back, im not changing them”
this caught me off guard, so i told him that he has no customer service skills and I wasnt asking him to change his prices, but since he was being such an a$$ about it I said I would be taking my business elsewhere. Then he responded with the same message. So rude.
I was going back and forth on whether to edit my review so people would know how stupid this owner is and I finally decided to. I didnt owe him anything. At least I am hopefully saving someone money if they see it.
Finally I thought this situation had settled down, but then low and behold i got ANOTHER message from this guy after I edited it saying: I know who you are- we dont need your star or your review”
At this point I am so beyond over dealing with this retard but I am contemplating editing my review again- I mean why the hell is he threatening me?
So my question is, should I edit the review again so potential customers can see how nuts this guy is or just ignore it? How would you say it?

Seems as though he can’t take criticism well.
Being a complainer myself, I would once again edit, stating that the restaurant owner is not one for criticism. You are entitled to your opinion and if he doesn’t like it, so be it.
I think you were right in letting people know that you felt pricing was too high, as it lets other users know so that they don’t get a horrible shock, it in no way was going to put anyone off!
I suggest you change your review so people get a clear idea and then perhaps, block this owner, ignore his messages or even report him to the site. It comes with the job!
